William Barnett
William Barnett died while held at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. According to an attorney for the family of Lashawn Thompson, the jail knew he had a chemical imbalance and low potassium, and after a hospital visit the hospital advised the jail to monitor him and check his potassium level. The attorney says the jail did not do so. The attorney says Barnett was found unresponsive in his cell in cardiac arrest and died, and calls his death neglect.
