Pallister
Pallister was found in the Hudson River off Sing Sing prison on the morning of May 16, 1893, nearly a month after escaping from the prison. Officials identified the body by a bunch of keys that had been taken from guards during the escape. The coroner was to hold an inquest into the death, and no cause of death had been reported when the account appeared.
