Michael Brewer, 38, died on August 22, 2026 while held at Wende Correctional Facility in Erie County, New York, according to the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. The department posted his death under Correction Law 624. A state corrections spokesperson said the department could not provide a cause or manner of death.
