Mark McCray
Mark McCray, 61, died on June 18, 2018, while held at Cape Vincent Correctional Facility, a New York state prison in Cape Vincent, Jefferson County. Prosecutors say another person held at the facility repeatedly struck and kicked Mr. McCray about the head and neck and choked him, causing severe damage to his brain and throat. Prosecutors describe the death as a homicide. The Watertown Daily Times reported on the case in December 2019.
