Jarrett Frost died on June 28, 2022 at Green Haven Correctional Facility, in the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Jarrett Frost was 30 years old. The New York Attorney General's Office of Special Investigation, which reviews deaths in which an officer may have played a part, was notified of the death and lists it as an assault by another incarcerated person.
