Died in jail or a lockup
Christopher Smith
Christopher Smith, 34, died in August 2023 while held at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia. The sheriff's office said he was found unresponsive in a medical unit cell on the evening of August 10 and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead early the next day. The sheriff's office has not stated a cause of death, and WABE reported that an autopsy was still pending.
