Brandon James Hall
Brandon James Hall, 30, of Bear Lake, Michigan, died at the Mason County Jail on October 10, 2026. According to the Mason County Sheriff's Office, corrections deputies found him unresponsive and not breathing during routine cell checks, and he was pronounced dead at Corewell Health Ludington Hospital. The Sheriff's Office says he was alone in his cell. The cause of death has not been determined; an autopsy by WMED is pending, and the Michigan Sheriffs' Association MISSION Team is conducting an independent investigation.
