Ziggy Lemanski
Ziggy Lemanski died in February 2008 while held at the Worcester County jail in Massachusetts. He had HIV and hepatitis C, and his brother Mario Lemanski has spent years seeking justice for him. A lawsuit filed by Mario says Ziggy's written sick slips went unanswered for days and that he was taken to the hospital too late. He died of pneumonia within days, and Mario has said, "If it could happen to Ziggy, it could happen to anybody."
