Zachary Tyler Swanson
Zachary Tyler Swanson, 30, died on June 22, 2020, after being held at the Cascade County Detention Center in Montana. According to chief medical examiner Robert Kurtzman, who testified at a coroner's inquest, he died of methamphetamine intoxication after swallowing a large amount of the drug he had hidden on his body while waiting to be processed. A coroner's inquest jury found the death was not caused by criminal means, and the medical examiner classified the manner of death as accidental.
