Zachary Barber
Zachary Barber was just 19 years old when he died by suicide in his cell at the Baldwin County Corrections Center in Alabama in May 2011. He had been held there since February. A deputy's report later found that the officer on duty that night had not made the required cell checks and had falsified the records to show that they were done. That officer was arrested and charged.
