Yareth Villagomez, a woman, died on June 20, 2022, while held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning, Riverside County, California. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said she was found unresponsive in her housing unit early that morning and was pronounced dead at 5:52 a.m. The department said there were no signs of foul play, and no cause of death has been announced.
