Xzavier Franklin
Xzavier Franklin, 39, was stopped by Dallas police on June 21, 2023, and taken into custody. According to the Dallas Police Department, he told officers at Dallas Police Headquarters, after an interview, that he felt ill and asked to be taken to a hospital, where he died that evening. The department's Special Investigations Unit is reviewing the death, and the police said autopsy and toxicology results are pending, so the cause and manner have not been established.
