Willie T. Weathersby, 31, died on January 15, 2020, while held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee County, Illinois. On the same day, the Kankakee County Sheriff's Office listed the manner of a 32-year-old man's death at the Kankakee County Jail as pending. The office said that man was found unresponsive in his cell.
