Willie Lee McClain
Willie McClain died on June 19, 2021, while held at the Bexar County Jail in Texas. According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, he began having chest pains and shortness of breath on a Saturday evening and was taken to the jail's medical area, where he became unresponsive despite efforts by first responders to save him. The sheriff's office said investigators determined he died of natural causes and that it would conduct an internal investigation. The Texas Office of the Attorney General's custodial death report also records his death at the jail on that date.
