William Sallie
William Sallie was executed by lethal injection at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson on December 6, 2016. Before the injection he apologized to the witnesses, said he was very sorry, and said he had often prayed for forgiveness, and he accepted a moment of prayer just before the drugs were given. The Georgia Department of Corrections said he recorded a final statement and accepted a final prayer. A New York Post report gave the time of his death as 10:05 p.m., and sources list his age as both 50 and 60.
