William Albert Keitel, 59, was held at the State Correctional Institution-Houtzdale in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, when his cellmate beat him in their cell on August 2, 2013. State police said the cellmate beat and kicked him in the head after a dispute. He was taken to Altoona Hospital, where he died on August 11, 2013. According to Clearfield County District Attorney Bill Shaw, the cellmate attacked him because he wanted a private cell, and the cellmate agreed to plead guilty to first-degree murder.
