William Hooper
William Hooper was 60 years old and arrived at the Mobile County Metro Jail in Alabama on August 8, 2023, already living with several health problems. A week later, on August 15, he was found unresponsive in his cell. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office said he had been receiving care for the health issues he had when he came to the jail.
