William Fraser
William Fraser was hanged at Hampton, South Carolina, in December 1895, according to a dispatch from Columbia printed in the Canton Weekly Register. On the gallows, Fraser and the others executed with him maintained that William Blake, Sr. had nothing to do with the crime. The account gives no further detail about Fraser's life or family.
