William Davenport
William Davenport, 31, died on the evening of July 2, 2025, at the Nashville-Davidson County Sheriff's Office Correctional Development Center, where he was being held. The sheriff's office said staff found him unresponsive around 5:50 p.m., and officers began CPR and called the Nashville Fire Department, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office has released no cause of death, and the Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating his death.
