William B. Walker
William B. Walker was hanged after his sentence was carried out, the sheriff's office, through Sheriff Hicks, reporting that his neck was broken when the trap was sprung. Before the execution he read the morning paper and ate the breakfast he had asked for, and he was baptized and recited Catholic prayers as he walked to the gallows, with a priest, Rev. T. D. Madden of St. Joseph's church, spending time with him beforehand. The account gives no objection to the sentence and no statement from his family. His body was cut down sixteen minutes after the trap fell.
