Will Hunter

Will Hunter, a Black man, was held in custody at Star City, Arkansas, in June 1910 when a mob took him from the officers and lynched him. The Hartford Republican reported the seizure, and the Greene County Herald carried a similar account on June 24, 1910. Neither report names the facility or says whether the officers resisted the mob, gave up the keys, or handed him over.
