Will Gatling

Will Gatling, a Black man, was hanged at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, according to a brief item in the Kanabec County Times. The item, published on February 13, 1903, reported his hanging together with that of Steve Clark. Steve Clark is named in the same item as having been hanged at Poplar Bluff.
