Wesley Wayne Moore
Wesley Wayne Moore, 34, was from Locust Fork, according to 1819 News. Hoodline reported that he died at UAB Hospital in September 2022 after a medical emergency while held at the Jefferson County Jail, where jail medical staff gave him naloxone without success. An earlier 1819 News report, published in February 2022, said he was found unresponsive in a common area of the jail, that another person revived with naloxone survived, and that an opioid overdose was possible, with an autopsy planned. The two reports give different dates, and the cause of death has not been confirmed.
