Wesley Shermantine
Wesley Shermantine, 60, died on September 17, 2026, at California State Prison, Sacramento, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The department said he was pronounced dead at about 6 p.m. at the prison's central health building. The Sacramento County coroner's office will determine the cause of death, and the department has not released one. No manner of death has been announced.
