Died in prison
Wesley Shandy
Wesley Shandy, 44, was held at Hudson Correctional Facility in Colorado, which housed prisoners from Alaska, when he died on August 16, 2010. He was found unresponsive in his cell early on Monday and was pronounced dead in an ambulance. The Alaska Department of Corrections reported the death, and Colorado authorities and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are investigating it. No cause or manner of death had been determined when the Anchorage Daily News reported it.
