Wesley Richardson
Wesley Richardson was being held in the Vernon jail when a group of armed men broke into the jail early on a Sunday morning. The sheriff refused the men the keys, and Wesley was one of three men found shot dead in a cage there. The sheriff had been ordered to stay in his home. A coroner's inquest found that the three men died of shot wounds.
