Weakly KidJev

Weakly KidJev was one of two men held in the jail at Alamo. According to a reprinted account, a group came to the jail shortly after midnight saying they had a prisoner to lodge, and when the sheriff opened the door, they demanded the keys to the cells. While part of the group kept the sheriff quiet, others shot Weakly KidJev and the other man to death. The mob took the men from custody and killed them.

Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. The Humboldt Messenger reprinted account says a mob broke into the Alamo jail, demanded the keys, and shot Weakly KidJev to death while the sheriff was kept quiet.
