Wayne Maynard
Wayne Maynard, 52, of Rockford, Michigan, died on December 20, 2021, while held at the Oneida County Jail in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office said corrections officers saw him attempting suicide. The sheriff's office and the Vilas County Sheriff's Office are investigating along with the Oneida County Medical Examiner's Office, and the state Department of Corrections is conducting its own review. The cause and circumstances of his death remain under review.
