Warren Hill
Warren Hill, 55, was executed by the State of Georgia by lethal injection at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson on January 27, 2015, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was Black. The Death Penalty Information Center reports that a state judge had found him intellectually disabled, a finding the Georgia Supreme Court reversed under the state's higher burden of proof. His execution was carried out despite that earlier ruling, which his supporters argued should have barred it.
