Died in prison
Wardell Colman
Wardell Colman, 71, died on July 26, 2022, while held at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Beckley in Beckley, West Virginia. Staff at the federal prison found him unresponsive that Tuesday morning and called emergency medical services, and he was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead. The Federal Bureau of Investigation was notified of the death. No cause or manner of death has been given.
