Walter Tomich, 75, was pronounced dead at 2:08 a.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Potosi Correctional Center in Mineral Point, Missouri, where he was held. He died about three and a half months before his expected release. The Missouri Department of Corrections said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
