Walter Stanley
Walter Stanley, a 56-year-old man from Beaver Dam, died on August 13, 2026 while held at the Columbia County Jail in Wisconsin. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said jail staff found him unresponsive in his cell, and an autopsy was performed. Officials are waiting for toxicology results before giving an official cause of death. The Sheriff's Office asked the Sauk County Sheriff's Office to investigate.
