Walter Ridley
Walter Ridley, 47, of Clarendon, died at the scene when a private security van carrying people in custody crashed in south Arkansas while traveling to Little Rock. The Arkansas State Police said the driver fell asleep at the wheel, and that another guard grabbed the wheel and overcorrected, so the van struck a culvert and rolled. According to the report, the people held in the back of the van were not secured.
