Walter Calloway, 42, of Southeast Washington, was found dead in his cell at the D.C. jail on Saturday, June 29, 2013. The Washington Post reported that his death was the second apparent suicide at the jail in less than two weeks. Hanging was given as the cause of death, and suicide as the apparent manner.
