Wade May
Wade May, 32, died at the Varner Unit in Lincoln County, Arkansas, on October 29, 2026. The Arkansas Department of Corrections told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that he told prison officials at about 4:30 p.m. that he had been attacked and was bleeding from a neck wound. He was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff and pronounced dead about an hour later. Officials say another person held at the unit has been identified as a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing, with his body to be sent to the state Crime Laboratory for autopsy.
