Vittani

Vittani was being taken by wagon from Rouse to the Walsenburg jail in Huerfano County, Colorado, while held in the custody of guards. A group of masked men stopped the wagon, ordered the guards away and took the prisoners, including Vittani. The account describes Vittani's death as a homicide at the hands of the group, and the body was found later that day during a search.
