Vincent Young
Vincent Dwayne Young, 32, was held at the Harris County Jail in Texas when he died on February 13, 2017. According to his family, he was the father of three young children and was due to be bonded out the next day. Deputies found him hanging from a bed sheet in a single cell in the detention medical infirmary, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it was investigating, and officials said the death was being treated as a suicide, but his wife, Kim Young, does not believe he took his own life. The family also says he had been assaulted and threatened in jail, allegations the county declined to address on camera, and officials have not said how long he was alone before he was found.
