Victor Jones
Victor Jones, 48, was held at California State Prison, Los Angeles County. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was found on the floor of a housing unit day room. Prison officials first believed he died of natural causes, but later said he had been beaten, and they now classify his death as a homicide. Another person held at the prison was named in connection with the death. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
