A 51-year-old man held at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Connecticut died of complications from COVID-19, according to the state Department of Correction. The department said he was taken to an outside hospital, where he died on the evening of Monday, December 13, 2021. The department said he had significant underlying health issues.
