A man in his sixties held at Osborn Correctional Institution in Connecticut was taken to UConn Health Center on April 30, 2020 for COVID-19 treatment and died there on May 26, 2020, according to the state Department of Correction. The department said he was the seventh person in its prison system to die from the virus. It did not release his name, citing medical privacy laws.
