A person held at the Tulsa Municipal Jail died there, according to a KOKI FOX 23 report published August 3, 2026. The report says this was the seventh death of a person held at the jail in three years. Body camera video of the events has been released. The Tulsa County District Attorney has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate the circumstances of the death.
