A 44-year-old man collapsed in his cell at the Carter County Jail in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he died on September 8, 2017. His name has not been released. Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant said there were no signs of foul play. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death, and the cause and manner have not been determined.
