A 38-year-old man held at the Kenosha County Jail Pretrial Facility in Wisconsin died there in the early morning of November 3, 2024. The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office said he was found in his cell, and that after jail staff began CPR and fire department personnel assisted, he was pronounced dead at 2:20 a.m. The sheriff's office said the death is under investigation, to be led by the Racine County Sheriff's Office, and that as of that Monday afternoon it suspected no use of force or suspicious activity by staff. The cause of death had not been announced.
