A 36-year-old man held by the Guam Department of Corrections died on April 10, 2023. According to the Guam Police Department, an officer found him unresponsive, and he was taken to Guam Memorial Hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead. Police said no foul play was involved, and the police and the department's Internal Affairs unit opened investigations.
