A man identified in court papers only as L.H. was killed at the ADX federal prison in Florence, Colorado, on September 19, 2020, after another prisoner attacked him, according to federal prosecutors. The Justice Department, through a federal grand jury indictment, says the other prisoner has been charged with murder, and prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty against that prisoner.
