A 69-year-old man held at the Department of Correction's Mangilao compound, in its Minimum-In unit, was injured and taken to Naval Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Department of Correction has not said what caused his injuries or how they happened. The Guam Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating, and the facility has been placed on lockdown. His name has not been released while his family is being notified.
