Glenn Campbell Detention Center in Darlington County, South Carolina, was found unresponsive in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 24, 2025, and was pronounced dead, the Darlington County Sheriff's Office said. The sheriff's office reported the death but had not released the person's name. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said the death was from natural causes. The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating.
