A 44-year-old man from Linden died on June 8, 2025, while held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility in New Jersey. According to County Prosecutor's Office spokeswoman Caitlin Mota, staff were alerted that he was sick, and officers and medical personnel tried to help him after he became unresponsive. He was pronounced dead a short time later. The cause of his death has not been announced.
