A 38-year-old woman was found dead in her cell at the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny, New Jersey, on the morning of November 8, 2022. Sources differ on the time: one says a corrections officer found her around 7:10 a.m., and officers and medical staff responded before she was pronounced dead at 7:34 a.m. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said no visible signs of trauma were seen, and it is investigating as an in-custody death.
