A 54-year-old white man died on November 19, 2024, while held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections in Louisville. LMDC officials said he was found unresponsive, and he was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. Officials said department and police units are investigating, and his name had not been released pending notice to his family.
